THE TASK AT HAND

For this project with Pelican, I led photography and art direction for a lifestyle shoot featuring their new line of outdoor-ready tech accessories—including waterproof phone cases, dry bags, laptop sleeves, and MagSafe-compatible gear. The goal was to capture the products in use, in real environments that speak to how and where customers actually interact with them.

We shot on location near a flowing river, letting the textures of water, stone, and sunlight tell a story of durability and function without over-staging the moment. I relied on natural light and intuitive setups to keep the scenes feeling grounded and lived-in, while still focusing on the core features of each product.

As someone who spends a lot of time outside, this shoot felt like a perfect alignment of work and lifestyle. Getting to collaborate with Pelican—a brand I’ve long admired—on a project that mirrors how I personally move through the world was a real full-circle experience.
