THE TASK AT HAND

I partnered with MARTA to document the unveiling of their new trains and zero-emission buses during the 2025 State of MARTA event. The project marked a pivotal moment in Atlanta’s public transit evolution—introducing new CQ400 railcars, high-tech control systems, and a redesigned bus network focused on speed, safety, and sustainability.

Working in a fast-paced, live setting, I approached the shoot with a documentary mindset, blending my background in street photography with the energy of the event. The result was a dynamic photo gallery that captured both the scale of the announcement and the human moments behind it—used across MARTA’s social media and communications.

As a longtime rider and supporter of MARTA, it was a full-circle moment to contribute imagery to a system that’s long been part of my own experience moving through the city.
